2027 VFTA–09: HANOI - HOCHIMINH CITY - 5 Days / 4 Nights

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

DAY 2: HANOI – HALONG BAY (Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

ABF at hotel.
Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049, and the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Then visit Tran Quoc & Van Nien pagoda on the shores of West lake. This pagoda dates from the 11th century and is said to protect this region from outside invaders. Continue visiting to the Temple of Literature, which is regarded as the first university in Vietnam.
After lunch at local restaurant, proceed (3.5h) to Ha Long Bay, one of Vietnam’s greatest natural wonders and recognized as World’s Natural Heritage by UNESCO in 2000.
This evening, you will have a seafood dinner at one of the best local restaurants.
Overnight at hotel in Ha Long Bay.

DAY 3: HA LONG – HANOI – HO CHI MINH BY FLIGHT (Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

ABF at hotel.
8.00: Welcome on boat at Bai Chay pier while boat is cruising towards Cho Da, Dinh Huong, Ga Choi.
10.20: Visit Thien Cung Cave.
11.00: Back to the boat, continue the cruise and Have set menu lunch.
12.00: Back to Bai Chay pier. End of the trip.
Back to Hanoi after lunch time and have dinner at a local restaurant upon arrival in Hanoi.
Dinner at one of the best local restaurants.
Transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Our driver will pick you up at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Flight TBA) and transfer to HCMC. Check in Hotel.
O/N at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS – HO CHI MINH CITY (Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

ABF at hotel.

Leave Ho Chi Minh City for Cu Chi tunnels.
On your way, you will pass by paddy fields. Here you will have the opportunity to meet villagers and witness how rice paper is made. Explore the amazing labyrinth of tunnels used by the guerrillas during the war.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City and proceed for a half day city tour. Visit the War museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, Ben Thanh market, Saigon Square Plaza and other shopping center if time permits.
Enjoy dinner at one of the best local restaurants.
O/N at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 5: HO CHI MINH CITY DEPARTURE (Meals: Breakfast)

• Meals as indicated in the itinerary (Requested Hala/Vegetarian meal surcharges at USD 2-3/pax/meal, available only in Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Delta, Cu Chi tunnels, Hanoi);

• English speaking tour guide; (Surcharge USD 25/group/full day visiting for Indonesian speaking tour guide);

• Entrance fees, boat trips in My Tho & Halong Bay;

• Traditional music show in My Tho;

• 02 bottles of mineral water/pax/day;

• Government tax.

• Vietnam Visa (if any): any Filipino who has US/foreigner passport must apply for Vietnam Visa before travel date or on arrival date with an approval letter issued by a travel agency in Vietnam.
