VFTMY-10: VIETNAM CLASSIC TOUR

Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh city/Tan Son Nhat international airport by… meet with our guide, Then visit the Mosque for praying then transfer to visit Centre Post Office, City Hall, China town. Dinner at local Halal restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hochiminh city. 

After breakfast, full day tour traveling south from Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta. Known as the “rice bowl” of Vietnam, the Delta is the most fertile region in the country, and the main producer of rice and tropical fruits. From My Tho, you board your boat and travel to one of the islands located in the middle of the Mekong River. On the island visit a fruit orchard and sample some of the local produce, before boarding a smaller sampan that winds along narrow canals. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit a local family’s house and enjoy their hospitality and share with them some tea or rice wine. Lunch at a local restaurant with local traditional food.

After lunch in My Tho return to Ho Chi Minh. We continue tour to visit War Remnants museum, the former Presidential Palace. End of day, stop at Ben Thanh market for shopping of silk shop, good quality Telekung, Baju Kurung and Jubah at reasonable prices. Dinner at local Halal restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Morning, transfer to visit Cu Chi Tunnels _ an important base during the American War, because of its strategic location. The Viet cong built a 200km long network of tunnels connecting command posts, hospitals, shelter and weapon factories. Dug out of hard laterite by hand tools without the use of cement, this amazing network was never discovered. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch at local Halal restaurant then transfer to airport for domestic flight to Hanoi by…..

Arrival Hanoi, meet with our guide and driver then transfer to hotel for check in. Dinner at local Halal restaurant. Overnight at Muslim hotel in Hanoi City.

Morning, city tour to visit Hochiminh Complex, this complex comprises the Mausoleum of the nation’s founder Hochiminh (closed on Monday, Friday), the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with a trip to the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070. Lunch at local Halal restaurant.

Afternoon, drive to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site (160km driving one way - 3.5hrs drive). This will be your first opportunity to see some of the rural areas of Vietnam. The drive goes through the Red River delta, so we'll have plenty of chance for taking photo of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy field.

Arrival Halong, enjoy seafood dinner then check in hotel for leisure. Overnight at hotel in Ha Long. 

Morning, enjoy 04 hours boat cruise on Halong bay _ listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. The trip will bring you an unforgettable memory of Halong Bay. Especially a fresh seafood lunch is served on board during cruise. Boat will stop at Thien Cung cave for sightseeing.

Afternoon, transfer back Hanoi capital. Continue to visit Hoan Kiem lake, then take 1-hour cyclo ride to visit Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at Thang Long Theatre. Dinner at local Halal restaurant. Overnight at Muslim hotel in Hanoi.
