VFTA–06: SAI GON – CU CHI TUNNELS - VUNG TAU- MY THO/MEKONG DELTA

After breakfast at hotel, leave Ho Chi Minh City for Cu Chi tunnels. On your way, you will pass by paddy fields. Here you will have the opportunity to meet villagers and witness how rice paper is made. Explore the amazing labyrinth of tunnels used by the guerrillas during the war. Experience yourself by crawling through the network of narrow tunnels dug during the period of Vietnam War. 
Lunch will be served at local restaurant. 
After visit, leave Cu Chi Tunnels for Vung Tau Beach.

This morning, free for your own enjoyment at the beautiful beach area of Vung Tau. Vung Tau, a city of 128km away from Ho Chi Minh City. It is one of central resorts of the Southern Vietnam, with beautiful beaches, such as: Back beach, Front beach, Pine-apple beach. Meet at designated time and leave for Vung Tau city tour with King Bao Dai’s White Palace (Bao Dai was the last King of Vietnam’s feudal dynasty), Whale Temple, Statue of Jesus Christ. 
After that, return to Ho Chi Minh City for visit to Opera House and City Hall (both places are just photo stops of the building structure).
Enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant.

After breakfast at hotel, we will take a full day trip to the watery world of the Mekong Delta, just 1 hour and half by road from Ho Chi Minh City. We will have a full day trip here to catch a glimpse of the famous Mekong River. 

Upon arrival, we will take a boat trip along narrow waterways overhung with dense vegetation visiting the fish whalf, the 4 famous islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix. Then take a short tour to the bank of Mekong River visiting a rice farm, candy workshop and honey bee farm, then journey by sampan through the canals and mangrove forests where we watch the fishermen lay their fish traps. Enjoy time on the Unicorn island visiting the local fruit, tea mixed with bee’s honey, and enjoy a locally produced folkshow of traditional Mekong Delta music.

Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the most famous pagoda in the South whose architecture is a mixture of Vietnamese, Kh’mer and Chinese. In the late afternoon, transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. 

Tonight, enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant.

Our guide will pick up you ½ city tour visiting Reunification palace which was the residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975. Continue seeing the War Remnants Museum, some impressive French colonial structures including Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Central Post Office. Take a break-time at Ben Thanh market where anything and everything are for sales. 
Transfer to the airport for taking flight to back home.
