Day 1: Arrival in Yangon – Gateway to Myanmar

Day 2: Yangon ✈️ Bagan – Ancient Kingdom of Temples

• Morning flight to Bagan, one of Asia’s most remarkable archaeological wonders.

• Explore highlights such as Ananda Temple, Htilominlo, Thatbyinnyu, and Dhammayangyi Temple.

• Optional: Visit a lacquerware workshop to learn about traditional craftsmanship.

• Sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda or a scenic viewpoint near the river.

Day 3: Bagan – Mt. Popa – Spiritual Highlands

• Drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano and sacred site of Nat (spirit) worship.

• Climb (optional) the 777 steps to Taung Kalat Monastery for panoramic views.

• Visit toddy palm farmhouses en route back to Bagan for local snacks and demonstrations.

• Enjoy a sunset boat ride on the Irrawaddy River.

• Sunset from Mandalay Hill with sweeping city views.

Day 5: Mandalay – Sagaing – Ava – Amarapura

• Day trip to Sagaing Hill, dotted with hundreds of white-and-gold pagodas and monasteries.

• Cross the river to explore Innwa (Ava) by horse cart, visiting the Bagaya Monastery and palace ruins.

• End the day with a peaceful walk across the iconic U Bein Bridge at sunset in Amarapura.

• After breakfast, begin your journey from the cool colonial hill station of Pyin Oo Lwin by private car, descending scenic mountain roads to Mandalay.

• Continue the overland journey through the heart of the country, traveling into Shan State toward Inle Lake, passing through rolling hills, rural farmland, and colorful markets.

• En route, enjoy optional stops for local tea breaks and photo opportunities in authentic countryside villages.

• Arrive at Inle Lake by late afternoon and check in at your peaceful lakeside hotel, surrounded by the calm waters and misty mountain views — a perfect setting for rest and reflection.
