Day 1: Yangon Arrival – City of Golden Pagodas

• Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Warm greeting by your guide and transfer to the hotel.

• Depending on arrival time, enjoy a short tour of colonial-era Yangon: Sule Pagoda, City Hall, and Independence Monument.

• Evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda – Myanmar’s most sacred temple, glowing in golden splendor at sunset. A spiritual and unforgettable welcome.

Day 2: Yangon 🚘 Golden Rock – Pilgrimage Adventure Begins

• Early morning drive (approx. 5 hrs) through scenic countryside to Kinpun Base Camp.

• Transfer to an open-air truck to ascend the mountain (approx. 45 mins).

• Check in to your hotel near the summit, then walk up to marvel at the Golden Rock (Kyaiktiyo Pagoda) — a gravity-defying golden boulder balanced on the edge of a cliff.

• Watch sunset over the hills with chanting pilgrims – a deeply peaceful and spiritual experience.

Day 3: Golden Rock 🚘 Bago 🏯 Yangon – Ancient Capital Highlights

• After breakfast and sunrise stroll, descend to Kinpun and head back toward Yangon via Bago, the former Mon capital.

• Sightseeing in Bago includes:

o Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha – one of the world’s largest

o Shwemawdaw Pagoda – taller than Shwedagon

o Kyaikpun Pagoda – featuring four massive seated Buddhas

o Stop at Kanbawzathadi Palace ruins and learn about King Bayinnaung’s legacy

• En route, visit the Allied War Cemetery at Htauk Kyant, a tribute to WWII soldiers.

• Arrive back in Yangon in the evening and check in at your hotel.
